Quest for the Rohirric Windmill with Riders of Rohan Rep Quick Guide

23 Gwirith (April), Third Age 3019

With the orcs vanquished and my reputation growing among the Defenders of Minas Tirith, peace slowly returned to my homestead in Kingstead Meadows. The generous training and the seeds provided to me by the grateful defenders promised a bountiful harvest. But as the wheat sprouted and turned to shimmering gold beneath the Rohan sun, I soon realized my modest mill, built through the hard work and kindness of my Beorning friends, was no longer sufficient.

The realization was clear—I needed a mill that could honor the rich heritage and craftsmanship of Rohan itself. With determination, I turned my gaze to the Riders of Rohan. To gain their trust and favor, I journeyed to the Far Anórien region, offering my skills and labor in Taur Drúadan and the bustling town of Ost Rimmon.

The tasks were many and varied. I fed weary soldiers hearty porridge, filling their bellies and raising their spirits. I fought alongside the Rohirrim against incursions of orcs and the venomous spiders lurking in the shadows of Taur Drúadan. I even ventured into the marshy grounds of the Mouths of the Entwash, carefully harvesting Entscloak—its leaves essential for soothing the aches and pains of the elderfolk of Ost Rimmon.

These tasks were challenging but rewarding, strengthening bonds forged through shared trials and triumphs. At last, my efforts brought me into Kindred standing with the Riders of Rohan. Recognizing my service, they granted me the right to trade exquisite wood-carvings and polished marble trinkets (tokens gathered from my travels) for the coveted plans of a Rohirric Windmill.

Returning home with plans in hand, I invested the coin earned from my labors into hiring skilled workers from nearby villages and acquiring sturdy materials. Day by day, I watched the proud silhouette of the windmill rise behind my farmhouse, positioned perfectly across from the sprawling wheat fields. Its blades soon turned gracefully in the winds blowing across Kingstead, a symbol of endurance, friendship, and community.

Standing beneath its towering form, listening to the rhythmic creak of the turning blades, I felt a deep gratitude. Here, rooted firmly in Kingstead Meadows, surrounded by fields of gold and friends both near and far, I had truly found a place not just to survive, but to thrive.
